Dr Andrew Abui Duya was born on the 1st of July 1963 at Makarau in Zangon Kataf LGA of Kaduna state. He attended the Local Education Authority (LEA) primary school Unguwan Jaba (Mayayit) then in Kachia LGA from 1970 to 1977. He obtained a Diploma in Pastoral Studies from the prestigious ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja Kwara state in 2006 He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in same discipline at the same Seminary and a Master's degree in Inter-cultural studies at the renowned West Africa Theological Seminary Ipaja, Lagos. He is 59 years old.
