The police in Anambra State have arrested 69 suspected cultists. The spokesman of the police command, SP Harunna Muhammed, in a statement yesterday, said the command’s Special Anti Cult Unit (SPACS), in conjunction with Operation Puff Adder, carried out raids across various locations in the state that led to the arrests within one week.
SP Muhammed said out of the 69 suspects arrested, 22 were screened out, while 22 others were charged to court and 10 were placed under police supervision for being underaged, while 15 were still under investigation.
